10th Allianz survey: business interruption, pandemic and cyber incidents are the top three perceived risks for 2021, all strongly interconnected.

Pandemic rises from 17th to 2nd place, and is considered the leading cause of business interruption in 2021, followed by cyber. Companies are looking to reduce risk in supply chains and enhance corporate business continuity plans in the event of “extreme” events.

Changes in markets (#4), macroeconomic changes (#8) and Political Risks (#10) are all on the rise. The economic consequences of the pandemic will likely fuel unrest in 2021 with implications for supply chains and business disruption.
