ELEVCON, the event which was to be held in Prague from 16 to 18 June 2020, has been postponed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 emergency. The new dates have already been made available by the organisers: it will take place from 15 to 17 June 2021. The venue does not change: the Grandior Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. Elevatori Magazine will also be present and will be part of the jury awarding the High-Tech Award to the best paper of the congress.

ELEVCON 2020 congress is rescheduled to the year 2021 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19)

I would like to send my appreciation for deciding to participate in ELEVCON 2020 – The 23rd International Congress on Vertical Transportation Technologies of IAEE.

Unfortunately, due to the current coronavirus situation which is changing daily worldwide, we all face a new reality of restrictions on public gatherings, borders closing, home isolation and so on.
Putting the health and safety of all our members, colleagues and families at first priority while taking under consideration that, the situation today is not very clear, we have concluded that the right thing to do would be to announce the postponement of the ELEVCON congress to 2021.
Our heart, sympathy and support with everyone affected by the coronavirus, whether directly or indirectly and we do hope that this situation will be behind us soon.
I do hope that you will stay with us for ELEVCON 2021 in Prague. Our secretariat will contact you with the new date as soon as it will be coordinated with the Grandior hotel in Prague.
