Elena Giacomello (1979), graduated in Architecture at Iuav University of Venice, PhD in Building technology at Università degli Studi di Ferrara.

Assistant Professor, her research topics include the integration of the elevator in buildings and environmental accessibility.

She conducted researches collaborating with the Italian elevator industry and with the associations Anica, Anacam, Anie AssoAscensori.

She is a member of UNI/CT 019 “Installations for elevators, goods lifts, escalators and similar equipmentˮ for Iuav.
