In April 2025, the General Assembly of the VFA, a German association of around 230 companies in the lift industry, was held. On this occasion, the new Board of Directors was elected, which will have a three-year term of office. The numerous members present re-elected Achim Hütter (Dein Aufzug GmbH) as President. Vice-President Michael Gubisch (SCHAEFER GmbH) was also re-elected. Stephan Rohr (Cobianchi Liftteile AG) was re-elected Treasurer. Ulrich Brumm (ORBA-Lift Aufzugsdienst GmbH) was elected as a new member of the Board of Directors. In addition, the VFA General Assembly confirmed the four previous members: Tim Ebeling (Henning GmbH & Co. KG), Andreas Hönnige (LiFTCORE GmbH), Hans Martin Lutz (Lutz Aufzüge GmbH) and Peter Zeitler (NEW Lift Steuerungsbau GmbH).

President Achim Hütter thanked the members for their renewed vote of confidence and the board members for their pro bono work and great commitment to the association.
