As of 1^st April 2023, Omar Riva assumed the role of General Manager of TK Elevator for Italy.

Having joined TKE Italia in 2008 following an acquisition, Riva first held the role of Commercial Manager (2014) before being appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2018, with responsibilities in both the commercial and operational spheres. Under his direction, the company won major tenders in both the private and public sectors, supplying vertical mobility solutions for airports, railway stations, subways, institutional buildings as well as large private construction projects. As COO, Riva guided the company through tough challenges such as the separation from the Thyssenkrupp Group, the positioning of a new TKE brand in the Italian market and the operational complexity during the global pandemic. In his role, he has always focused on the sustainable development and growth of all business lines, through the launch of innovative new products and advanced digital solutions. He has also led the development of TKE’s public procurement division, for which he oversees the implementation of more than 450 projects/contracts per year, coordinating the operations of more than 500 employees.
