Schindler Italia, Matteo Napoli is the new CEO and General Manager
Major changes at the top management of Schindler Italia. As of 1 July 2024 Matteo Napoli is the new CEO and General Manager of Schindler Italia. Hi succeeds Danilo Calabro, who is promoted to Head of Europe South, Middle East & Africa and joins the Executive Committee of Schindler Group.
Matteo Napoli arrives at the helm of the Italian subsidiary at the age of 40, after a journey within the company that began in 2009 and continued with various positions of increasing responsibility both in Italy and abroad. Originally from the province of Udine, Matteo Napoli graduated in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic and joined Schindler Italia at a very young age in 2009 as a sales representative for new plants. He joined the Global Talent Program of Schindler Group, holding over the years positions of increasing responsibility both in Italy and abroad. In 2012 he moved to Madrid and became Executive Assistant to the Vice President and member of the Schindler Group Executive Committee for Asia Pacific, India and Middle East.

In 2015, after a year as Project Manager in Dubai, he took on the role of Managing Director and General Manager of Schindler United Arab Emirates. He returned to Italy in 2018 as Director of Services and Modernisation and has been Director of Operations for Lombardy since 2023.
