Olympic Winter Games, Otis receives the Olympic flame

 In News

In November 2025, Special Olympics Italia (part of Special Olympics, a global movement that works through sport to create a new world of inclusion and respect) brought together all its regional teams and staff for a national meeting: over 150 people united by their passion for sport and inclusion.

On this occasion, Otis Elevator Co. was honoured for its historic role as one of the first sponsors in Italy and a long-standing global partner.

As a token of gratitude for its commitment during the World Winter Games, the Olympic flame was presented to Otis delegates attending the event.

“This recognition is particularly important to me because I have always been a volunteer and advocate for inclusion,’ wrote Antonella Arpinati, Senior Director of Ethics & Compliance Programmes EMEA at Otis, on social media. ‘I am proud that Otis Elevator Co. continues to support Special Olympics, promoting inclusion and accessibility for all.”

The initiative is a significant example of corporate social responsibility, transforming support into a concrete message of inclusion. This is a particularly relevant testimony to remember at this time of year, as 3 December marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
