The NAEC Annual Convention & Exposition, one of the leading events for the vertical transport sector in the United States, has begun.

The event is taking place from 28 September to 1 October 2026 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

Organised by the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC), the Convention & Expo serves as a key networking opportunity for contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and industry professionals. The programme includes training sessions dedicated to topics such as safety, regulations, modernisation, skills development and new technologies, alongside a large exhibition area.

Of particular significance is the exhibition floor, which will host over 200 exhibitors showcasing technologies, components, products and solutions for the lift industry. The event will also offer numerous opportunities for networking and discussion among industry professionals from the United States and other countries.

The 2026 edition is therefore set to bring to Chicago the latest innovations from a constantly evolving sector, with a particular focus on the technologies that are transforming the future of vertical transport.
