New Montanari solutions at Interlift 2025
Interview with Marcello Bellei, Global Sales Manager in Montanari Group.
What products, services or solutions will Montanari highlight in this edition of Interlift?
Your question perfectly embraces Montanari Mission: delivering not just products and services, yet tailored solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of both new installation and modernization markets.
Once again for this 2025 Nuremberg edition, Montanari will be attending Interlift (Booth A402 Hall 4A), given its essential relevance for networking with international industry professionals. We will showcase the width and depth of our portfolio – a comprehensive range of gearboxes, gearless machines, safety components, and shaft accessories – highlighting how these are engineered to provide reliable, long-lasting performance across diverse installation conditions.
Special focus will be given to our flat and cylindrical gearless machine ranges, our Butterfly IoT patent for predictive maintenance, the unique geared selection with extra slow shaft brake and high static load capacity, and our gearboxes for escalators, a growing segment where reliability and durability are paramount.
Beyond the catalogue itself, we aim to remind visitors what stands behind our product excellence: a Company with 55 years of history, a deep-rooted commercial structure, a reliable technical expertise and a reputation for reactive, high-quality support worldwide.

What do you consider the main industry trends for coming years, likely premiere during this Interlift edition?
We aknowledge that elevator industry is evolving along several key directions:

- digitalization and predictive maintenance will continue to gain ground, with IoT solutions and remote monitoring becoming essential tools to improve reliability and optimize service operations;
- modernization will grow steadily, driven by the aging of elevator fleets in many mature markets and by the increasing focus on energy efficiency, accessibility, and safety upgrades;
- the market is also showing greater demand for flexible, space-saving solutions such as compact gearless machines and customized equipment for existing shafts with critical constraints.
- lastly, reliable, long-standing partnerships and supplier continuity stay as essential drivers, as customers increasingly look for dependable collaborators in a world where market volatility and supplier instability have become real challenges.
Given our long multi-market industry experience, Montanari is ready to respond and master these rising trends, with a complete and reliable product range, an experienced and trustworthy Team, and a genuine customer-oriented culture.
