During the VFA forum at Interlift, on Wednesday 18^th October, the Italian market was one of the discussed topics. The latest report by Federazione ANIE, including the AssoAscensori lift sector association, claims that the Italian technological sector is growing. In 2016 data increased by 4.2% for electronics and a substantially stable situation (-0.7%) for the electro-technics (including lifts and escalators).

According to AssoAscensori, in 2016, the sector reported an overall growth by 2.5%, but at the same time the report highlights that “these positive data should be cautiously considered because after the first positive situation in 2015, a period of prolonged weakness followed”.
