Previously, Luca was the Director, Escalator Modernization Solutions for KONE Corporation.

Over the years he has held several technical and managerial roles in the elevator and escalator business.

Luca is  member of the European Escalator Code Committee CEN TC 10/WG2, which  prepares new revisions and interpretations for EN 115-1, EN 115-2, EN 115-5. He was also member of European Elevator Association and of International Escalator Code Committee ISO TC 178/WG5.

Luca holds a few European patents and he has been involved in many of the major escalator modernization projects worldwide.
