It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alessandro Roversi, a highly respected professional and expert in our industry, whose loss leaves an irreplaceable void for all those who worked with him and knew him.

He worked for 37 years at Schindler, where he was currently Sales Manager for Schindler X8.

The editorial team remembers him for the great expertise and helpfulness he always demonstrated in the many articles he wrote for Elevatori Magazine, and for the attention and care he put into the events he took part in with us, the last of which was in November 2025 during GEE.

The publisher, the editorial team and the Technical Committee extend their deepest sympathies to Alessandro’s family and friends.
