After the record with 574 participating companies, a new top result with 21,260 visitors, whose 60% were foreign visitors. In 2017 a total of 114 countries were represented at Interlift, an additional new record. These are just some figures reported by AFAG, the association organising, together with VFA-Interlift, the international fair of the vertical transportation sector held in Ausgburg, Germany, in October 2017.

According to a survey by Gelszus Trade Fair Market Research, Dortmund, the lift sector is growing compared to two years ago. 34% of respondents (21% in 2015) are expecting a strongly rising trend.
