Giuseppe Iotti, electronic engineer, has been working on lifts since 1983 as co-owner of Koppel A.W. in Parma.

He is technical expert of UNI, coordinator of the Commission on the safety of existing lifts, he has been a member of CEN/TC10, he represented European SMEs at the Lift Working Group of the European Commission.

He was regional president of Anacam Emilia Romagna, and then member of the national board of directors, and secretary of Efesme, the Federation of European lift SMEs.

He is co-author of some books on lift standards and techniques published in Italian by Maggioli, as well as author of a book on the safety of lift installation and maintenance operators and of the book “Ascensori, energia, ambiente” (Lifts, energy, environment), both published by Anacam.

He is the author of several articles for many trade magazines, including Elevatori Magazine.
