Fermator has reached a new milestone in its global expansion with the inauguration of Innovatec India, Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad. On February 11th and 12th, the company hosted a memorable event that not only marked the official opening of the new production plant but also strengthened the bond with more than 700 clients from across India.

On February 11th, the inaugural gala, held at the Taj Skyline Hotel, brought together key industry players in India, providing an excellent opportunity to reinforce key business relationships. The event continued the following day with a tour of the new plant, located on a 13,000-square-meter site, equipped with cutting-edge technology, including an automated manufacturing line, smart warehouses, and welding robots to optimize precision and productivity.

Afterwards, attendees enjoyed a meal during which the symbolic commencement of plant operations was celebrated with a local cultural tradition.

This new manufacturing facility responds to the accelerated growth of the Indian market, which now exceeds 140,000 installed elevators, and reinforces Fermator’s expansion strategy in the region. Like its second plant in Innovatec, this facility will focus on the production of Commodity (Compact) and Custom Modular (40/10 and Premium) products, catering to the specific demands of an ever-evolving market.

Additionally, taking advantage of this occasion, the project for a third factory in India was announced, which will address both the market’s and the company’s growth, solidifying Fermator’s commitment to innovation and strengthening its presence in the country.
