The first anniversary of Elevatori Magazine’s Round Table is fast approaching.

On 10 July 2026, we will mark this occasion at the Politecnico di Milano with a session entitled ‘Lift modernisation and system safety’, which will take place from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm in Building 15 (Giovanni Muzio), Via Giuseppe Ponzio, 31.

The event is organised by Elevatori Magazine and the Politecnico di Milano, thanks to the invaluable collaboration of Professor Claudio Bernuzzi and Engineer Marco Simoncelli from the Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering and the Built Environment (DABC).

The event marks the first year of meetings of Elevatori Magazine’s Round Table, established with the aim of bringing together around the same table the key players who, in various capacities and across different sectors, are involved in the process of modernising lifts installed in Italy: business owners, technicians, designers, maintenance engineers, regulatory bodies, training providers, engineers, architects, property managers and others. In Italy, in fact, there are around one million lift installations, at least half of which require upgrades to improve key aspects such as safety and performance.

Elevatori Magazine’s ‘July 10 Round Table®’ is a permanent platform dedicated to the modernisation of existing lifts, conceived and established by Elevatori Magazine and launched on 10 July 2025 with a landmark event held at the Politecnico di Milano (click here to find out more and to read the event’s founding protocol).

Here at Elevatori Magazine, we strongly believe in the value of direct discussion and in the opportunity to create meaningful opportunities for dialogue, capable not only of exploring technical and regulatory issues in depth, but also of building and strengthening relationships and developing new opportunities for collaboration.
