Elevatori Magazine’s Technical Committee is growing again!

After the additions of three academics in 2023 (Alessandro Greco, Raffaella Lione and Fabio Minutoli) and more recently that of Lucia Rizzi, president of the condominium administrators’ association Anapic, from this issue onwards another four highly-valued figures from the world of business, notified bodies and standardisation join the Technical Committee of Elevatori Magazine: Antonino Barresi, Giorgia Feneri, Giuseppe Iotti and Daniele Pavan.

We are happy to introduce them to our readers.

Antonino Barresi

An electronic engineer, Sicilian by origin, he works in Milan, Italy, at the IMQ Certification Body where he has held various positions, from inspector of electrical installations to laboratory technician, until he became head of the IMQ Operational Area for the Machinery, Lifts, Installations, Equipment and Personnel Certification sectors. He actively participates in CEI and UNI Technical Committees and association working groups.

Giorgia Feneri

Born in Salerno, Italy, in 1980. She is a Civil Engineer, expert in elevator systems with 20 years’ experience in testing and verification of elevator systems. She also trains technicians and is an Auditor for Management Systems. She is Partner and Technical Manager of Sic srl notified body, President of UN.I.O.N. since 2023 and Deputy coordinator of the GDL ex D.P.R. 162/99 as well as member of the CIG of Accredia. She lives in Rome.

Giuseppe Iotti

An electronic engineer, he has been involved in lifts since 1983 as co-owner of Koppel A.W. (Parma, Italy), where he is General Manager. He is a technical expert in UNI, coordinator of the Commission on the safety of existing lifts. He is a former Coordinator at CEN/TC10, and he has represented European SMEs at the Lift Working Group of the European Commission. He was Regional President of Anacam Emilia Romagna, member of the National Executive and Secretary of Efesme (Federation of European Lift SMEs). He has written many technical articles and he is coauthor of some texts on standards, lift techniques and safety. He wrote the book ‘Lifts, Energy, Environment’, published by Anacam (2022).

Daniele Pavan

Born in 1966, he graduated in Electronic Engineering from Milan Polytechnic and began his career in the design field, first in the lift truck sector and then in the lift sector. In 2011, he joined TK Elevator Italia (formerly Thyssenkrupp Elevator) as Technical Director and Quality Manager. He is an active member of the Technical
Commission of Asso Ascensori and has been President of the UNI/CT 019 Commission ‘Elevator, goods lift, escalator and similar equipment installations’ since 2024. He is involved in professional training, helping young technicians to obtain their lift qualification.

Founder and Director Giuseppe Volpe, Publisher Matteo Volpe, the entire editorial staff and the current experts on the Technical Committee of Elevatori Magazine are pleased to welcome the new members whom our readers will get to know them better in future issues of the magazine.
