Update! Lift Expo Italy dates for 2024 announced.
Lift Expo Italia 2024 will be held Dec. 4-6, 2024. Organizers announced this on the fair’s official pages.
Lift Expo Italia, the elevator fair organized in Milan by Anica, ended on Friday, October 21. About 100 exhibitors and more than 5,000 visitors, from 47 countries.
There was a good reception from the public and also good feedback from exhibitors on the success of the event, which brought back to Italy after so many years an exhibition for vertical transportation.
Elevatori Magazine was present with its booth in celebration of the magazine’s 50th anniversary, as Premium Media Partner of the event organized by Anica.

The afternoon of the second day of Lift Expo Italia was enlivened by the conference ‘INDUSTRY AND UNIVERSITIES:RESEARCH PROJECTS, IoT, INDUSTRY 4.0,’ moderated by Elevatori Magazine Editor-in-Chief Maddalena Parotelli.

The Chronicle of Wednesday, October 19
The first edition of the new Italian trade fair Lift Expo Italia has begun.
Elevatori Magazine will attend Lift Expo Italia. The fair will be held October 19-21, 2022 at Allianz MiCo – Milano Congressi, via Gattamelata Gate 16 (Level 0, North Hall), Milan (Italy). You will find us at booth D1.
On Oct. 19, the opening ceremony of the fair is held at 12 a. m.
Lift Expo Italia 2022
Lift Expo Italia 2022 is a new biennial exhibition event in the lift sector, promoted by Anica (National Association of Industries of Components for Lifts), which this year will take place in Milan (Italy) from 19 to 21 October 2022 at MiCo – Fiera Milano City, in an exhibition area of 7,000 sqm with the participation of about 100 exhibitors active in the vertical transport sector.

In addition to the exhibition area, which allowed visitors to visit the stands of more than 100 exhibitors, numerous debates and conferences were held during the fair.
On Oct. 20, starting at 2:30 p.m., the conference ‘Industry and universities: research projects, IoT, Industry 4.0’ was moderated by our Editor-in-Chief Maddalena Parotelli.

OQX – Oltre il quadrato e la X 2022
Within the event, the following will take place on 21 October 2022, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the fifth edition of the conference ‘Beyond the Square and the X’, an event dedicated this year to the theme of ‘smart technologies for accessibility environmental accessibility’. The event is promoted by Iuav (University of Architecture of Venice) in collaboration with Anica and organised by a technical committee composed of architects Dario Trabucco, Elena Giacomello and Martina Belmonte.
Two the main themes of the day: ‘Mobility and accessible services’and ‘Smart devices, machines and robotics for accessibility’.
