On 29th June, EFESME members gathered for the Board of Director and General Assembly to review the Federation’s ongoing activities, discuss future priorities, and celebrate the organisation’s 20th anniversary.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange views on current technical and policy developments affecting the lift sector and to reflect on the future direction of the Federation.

Particular attention was devoted to defining strategic priorities for the coming years, with members reaffirming their commitment to ensuring that the voice of independent lift SMEs continues to be heard in European policymaking, standardisation, and industry discussions.

The exchange highlighted the importance of cooperation, expertise, and active engagement in addressing the evolving needs of the sector.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to recall the 20th anniversary of EFESME, which was celebrated throughout 2025 with a series of dedicated events across Europe. President Massimo Bezzi took the opportunity to thank members for their dedication and support over two decades and for their continued commitment to the Federation’s future.

Looking ahead, the Federation will continue working to ensure that independent SMEs remain key contributors to a competitive, innovative, and sustainable lift sector in Europe and beyond.
