ANICA, the Technical Conference in Genoa

 In News

On 6 November 2025, Genoa hosted the regular technical conference organised by the Anica association. The focus of the day was on lifts in apartment buildings. The event was moderated by Barbara Manco, Technical Advisor at Anica.

It was a very well-attended event, with Anica members joined by a large group of lift maintenance technicians.

At the start of the event, Giuseppe Andreani, Technical Consultant at Anica, emphasised safety in apartment buildings, focusing on the topic of “Lifts: Regulations, Risks and Responsibilities”.

On this occasion, Francesco Burrelli, President of Anaci (National Association of Condominium Administrators), also spoke on topics linking the work of administrators with technicians in our sector (from contractual relationships to the modernisation of old systems and predictive maintenance). This sparked an interesting debate with the audience, in which the two parties (administrators and maintenance technicians) were able to discuss their different needs and expressed their willingness to continue the dialogue between their respective associations, Anica and Anaci.

Finally, Antonio Lizza (Technical Expert at Anica) spoke about “Mandatory periodic maintenance: checks, requirements and timelines”.

The day was sponsored by several Anica member companies, which were present with their own desks to introduce themselves and talk to the public.
