Anica celebrates
its 45th anniversary
A significant milestone for Anica, the Italian National Association of Lift Component Manufacturers, which celebrated its first 45 years of activity with an event held in the province of Milan on 5 May 2026: “An important milestone that looks back on the past with pride and forward to the future with enthusiasm” was the association’s comment on social media in the days leading up to the event.
To mark the occasion, numerous members gathered on 5 May 2026 in Besate (in the province of Milan) for the association’s technical conference. The day was dedicated to celebrations, but also to technical matters (with a conference in the morning) and the proceedings of the members’ meeting, which took place in the afternoon. The organisers stated: “Today in Besate we had an exceptional turnout: over 130 participants!”
The technical conference that took place in the morning was moderated by Barbara Manco (Technical Advisor to Anica).
On this occasion, the requirements of the new ISO 8100 standards and the new EN 81.41 and EN 81.42 standards were discussed, with contributions from two speakers, Antonio Lizza (Technical Expert at Anica) and Giuseppe Andreani (Technical Consultant at Anica).
The topics proved very interesting to the participants, who engaged in a lively debate at the close of the proceedings.

A venue set in the Lombardy countryside has been chosen for the ANICA TECHNICAL CONFERENCE, which will take place on 5 May 2026 at Cascina Caremma in Besate (in the province of Milan), starting at 9.00 am.
